Pulling a Job temporarily stops the current running Job before completion in order to start a new Job (for rush orders, emergencies, etc.) - the pulled Job can be resumed after the new Job is completed.

The steps to pull a Job are very similar to ending a Job.

2. Click on the Pull Job button to pull the current Job. To start the next Job, click on one of the Job defaults. This will open the Start Job window (Figure 9-8 above)..

4. To restart the pulled Job, click on the saved Job located in the job list and press the Start Job button, the remaining production counts and time elapsed from the pulled Job will appear on the new Job.

5. The pulled job will then run in a new instance on the Whiteboard until it is changed for another job. The production count on the “RUNNING” instance starts from the number of parts produced by the “PULLED” instance from when it was pulled.

Note: If a job is pulled and then removed from the Whiteboard it will not be able to be restarted even if a job of the same name is re-uploaded to the Whiteboard. This is because the re-uploaded job will have a different job instance number that will not match the pulled job.
