Machine classifications let you analyze machines the way you want, by allowing you to define and tag your machine with whichever unique attributes you want to measure!

These machine classifications will be available for you and your team to correlate to your existing production data through Advanced Analytics Suite.

We’ve implemented Machine Classification very similar to our existing Job Filters, except these attributes will always be related to the machine you add them to (instead of jobs)

Example of machine classifications: Type, Brand, Year, etc.

Do you want to see how all your injection moulding machines are performing?

How you would do this:

Include a Machine Classification called “Machine Type”, and at the machine level, specify the value for each machine (e.g. “Welder”, “Stamper”, “Injection Moulding”, etc.).

This allows you to analyze all your actual machine types, instead of just at the Area level. You’ll be able to view the performance of ALL your injection moulding machines, across Areas AND plants, to see which are performing better than others.

Are you looking to gather insight into your best-performing brands?

How you would do this:

Include a machine classification called “Brand”, and at the machine level, specify the value of each machine (“Allen Bradley”, etc.)

What about the year the machine was installed?

How you would do this:

Include a machine classification called “Installation Year”, and specify the value per machine (2001, 2004, 1999, 2015, etc.)

This will require no ongoing management after the initial set-up of machine classifications. The only time you may need to change this is if you want to replace a machine or revise your classifications.

All you have to do is determine what classifications you want for the machines in your plant. And we will take care of it from there.
