The checklist style is a new way for operators to complete quality checks in a checklist/form-based tabular format without having to sequentially complete one check at a time. This can save time and is more similar to a paper-based approach.

How to Configure

This is a configurable option in the Quality Controller, which is located at https://yourserver.shoplogix.com/qualitycontoller/, for example: https://demo.shoplogix.com/qualitycontroller/:

Checks listed inside a quality group will be arranged together, and displayed as either an “Ad Hoc Check” or an “Active Check” through your Whiteboard interface.

A quality group is a set of checks with specific job rules that can be configured, as shown below.

There can be multiple groups which would display a separate list of checks according to the configuration and the active job rules. If there are no job rules configured, the checks would be active for any active job. Please see How to configure quality inspections for more information about groups, the quality controller, and configuration steps.

The “Stage” configuration will determine whether the check is displayed as an “Active” check or “Ad Hoc”. “Active Checks” include all non-Ad Hoc stages such as “Production”, “Job Start”, “Shift Start”, etc.

In the example below there are two enabled ad hoc checks - “pne-4026” and “Test2” and one enabled Shift Start active check - “Test” (note that the two other checks “OnDaily” and “OnJobStart” are not enabled).

These checks - if enabled and triggered by production count or the start/end of a Job/Shift depending on its stage type - will show up in the Quality Banner:

Clicking on the banner for Active Checks will display all the configured active checks (meeting the stage condition) in a checklist format. If all Active Checks have been submitted, the banner will display Active Checks: 0 until Active Checks are triggered again according to their stage. Ad Hoc Checks will always show the count of enabled ad hoc checks as these are always available.

Active Checks

The status of the checks can be found in the group number and the number will be updated as checks are completed. For example above 2 Active (production) checks are expected and 0 of them are complete. As the checks are completed the number 0 will increment. The 2 checks are are configured are reset depending on how the check is configured in the quality controller (job/shift/day/production).

Ad Hoc Checks

Note that the denominator of the group of checks being displayed (in the example above 2) is displaying the number of active checks configured for this group. This number is NOT the number of expected checks since there is no expected number for adhoc checks. This is meant for the user to know how many ad hoc checks are configured for the group. The top number is the checks that have been completed for the current shift/job. The top numerator number will reset on a shift OR job change.

The full list of completed checks are available in the Audit view. A short list of recently* completed checks will appear for each group.

* All completed checks per group since the last job or shift change.

Checks will expire the same way they did before, and will count as a “failed” check. Please see How Checks Activate and Expire for more information on how checks can expire or get completed.
