As an Enterprise Analytics (EA) Viewer you will have access to additional customized analytics fields that your company has made available. If configured these fields are referenced as Glide Path, Custom Calendar and Global Formulas. In addition, there are three other analytics features that are available: drill-in, pulse and forecasting.

Monitoring your key KPIs by getting alerts using Pulse. To enable Pulse and alerts here is an article that will help you Pulse. You will not be able to create a pulse alert as a Viewer, however you will be able to receive alerts as configured by a Designer
