Designers have the ability to set confidence levels which will produce the error bands based on the set confidence level. The Forecasted values and the error bands are colored in a lighter shade.
To enable Forecasting, navigate into the widget and click on the Owl icon for the Value formula, and select Forecast

From here forecasting is enabled, and you can see the current settings. Clicking on Advanced will also allow you to edit the Confidence level.
