Overview

The Line Summary View is a focused view designed for analyzing data at the line level. A line is an area configured as a "Line" in PEConfig. This view provides a summary of the line’s performance, including special calculations for OEE and other key metrics.

Interacting with Line Summary View

Accessing the Line Summary View

Click on any line, and then click on the “Line” icon.

Overview of the Line Summary View:

  • Clicking on machine cards directs you to the machine’s meeting view.

Key Components:

  • OEE Bar: Shows the OEE of the line for the past 3 shifts.

  • Bottleneck Machine: Displays the bottleneck machine and its chrono component.

  • End of Line Machine: Shows production counts for the end of line machine based on the time period.

  • Total Duration and Counts: Displays the total duration, production/scrap counts, and opportunities for the line.

  • Current Shift Metrics: Shows the OEE and scrap for the current shift.

  • Top Downtime Reasons: Lists the top downtime reasons for the machines in the line.

  • Top Scrap Reasons: Lists the top scrap reasons for the machines in the line.

Shift Line View

  • By clicking here, users will be directed to the shift line view.

Customization

Settings:

Configure what is displayed and how it is displayed in the line summary view.

 

Time Options

Users can choose from three time options to display data in the Line Summary View:

Shift:

  • Snaps the view to the current shift. Users can go back to previous shifts by entering an offset number.

Duration:

  • Displays data for the last specified amount of minutes.

Custom:

  • Allows users to specify a custom time range.

Additionally, users can set the duration of each production bucket to control how spread out or congested the data appears.

Target and Gauges

Users can customize the number of gauges shown, the type of gauges, and different metrics for various milestones.

Above Example:

  • Both OEE and scrap gauges are shown. The gauge color changes based on performance:

    • OEE Gauge:

      • Red: 0-50% of goal

      • Yellow: 50-75% of goal

      • Green: 75%+ of goal

    • Scrap Gauge:

      • Green: 0-2% scrap

      • Yellow: 2-5% scrap

      • Red: 10%+ scrap

Display

 

In the display section, users can customize what information is being displayed in the Line Summary view.

Machine Metrics

Users can also choose which machine metrics to include in the machine cards.
