User Interface

The interface for this view will have slight variations based on the time periods selected as it can act as a meeting view to summarize a mix of information from the current shift and the past 24 hours or a summary view for a specified time period. The view will adjust based on whether the Snap to Shift setting is turned on with the YES option showing the meeting type view that includes 24-hour summary information and the NO option showing data specific to only the time frame selected. The Snap to Shift option is set to YES by default. The Line Summary view is shown below for both a single shift and a specified time period under a week and over a week

Figure 14-1: Line Summary for a Single Shift (Snap to Shift = YES)

  1. Starting from the left is the search bar (with the ability to filter downtime reasons and machine states from the top 5 reason pareto), the online help icon, the menu button and the navigation menu.

  2. The line name, current date and current local time.

  3. The OEE for each shift over the past 24 hours.

  4. The Line Layout view for the current shift.

  5. The jobs that were run on the bottleneck machine for the current shift.

  6. The machine states on the bottleneck for the current shift.

  7. The production counts from each end of line machine in line units compiled in a stacked bar chart for the current shift.

  8. A pareto graph of the top 5 downtimes for the current shift with each machine specified alongside the corresponding downtime reason.

  9. The Line OEE for the current shift which will match the Shift Line view for the same time period.

10.   The scrap percentage of the current shift.

Figure 14-2: Line Summary for a Specified Time Period (Snap to Shift = NO)

  1. Starting from the left is the search bar (with the ability to filter downtime reasons and machine states from the top 5 reason pareto), the inline help icon, the menu button and the navigation menu.

  2. The line name and specified time period.

  3. The Line Layout view for the specified time period.

  4. The jobs that were run on the bottleneck machine over the specified time period.

  5. The machine states on the bottleneck for the specified time period.

  6. The production counts from each end of line machine in line units compiled in a stacked bar chart for the specified time frame.

  7. A pareto graph of the top 5 downtimes for the specified time frame with each machine specified alongside the corresponding downtime reason.

  8. The Line OEE for the specified time frame which will match the Shift Line view for the same time period.

  9. The scrap percentage over the specified time frame.

Figure 14-3: Line Summary for a Time Period Greater than One Week (Snap to Shift = NO)

As shown above, if the selected time period is greater than a week the bottleneck chronological view is removed to decrease report loading time and to prevent the chronological machine state bar for the bottleneck from becoming unreadable. All other items remain the same as when Snap to Shift = NO and the time period is less than a week.
