Enterprise Analytics - Custom Calendar

Custom calendars enables customers to report on specific calendar entries to meet your organization reporting requirements. This could be based on a fiscal calendar time frame, a different day of the week starting period, or alignment with production cycles/accounting calendars.

Whatever your organizational requirements are, Shoplogix has the ability to ingest the calendar reporting period provided it is mapped to the regular calendar dates so the reporting period can be grouped and displayed.

Defining your custom calendar

Since Shoplogix has no way of knowing your organizations calendar needs, this information must be shared and updated for shoplogix. The source location for which the calendar entry is shared can be retrieved from Sharepoint, FTP or google drive. Shoplogix can pull and retrieve this file on a daily basis.

File Format

The content of the file should map each custom date value to the calendar date

For Example - if the request is for a fiscal calendar month the content may look something like this with all the dates of the year filled out in the CSV file

File Type

The file type should be in CSV.

Reporting

When reporting - select the Custom date field to report on the desired metric (this may be named differently and depends on how the configuration/integration was done.

Your reporting will aggregate and display the custom dates as per the CSV date mapping
